100 club

For those of you unfamiliar with this concept, the idea is that 100-Club

members ‘buy’ a number between 1 and 100. Each month a draw takes place and prizes are awarded for the numbers drawn. Although we very much hope this will raise money for the society, we also hope it will be a better investment than normal lottery tickets!

Becoming a 100-Club member and obtaining a number (between 1 and 100) will cost just £12 (one pound per month for a year). There is a prize draw every month.

Half of the money raised each month will go to the society; the other half will be used for prize money. The size of the prize will depend on the number of participants (up to a maximum of 100) but the prize funds will be split as follows: 1st prize: 50% prize fund value, 2nd prize: 30% prize fund value, 3rd prize: 20% prize fund value. For example, assuming all 100 numbers are eligible to be drawn (i.e. sold), the total prize money each month would be £50, and prizes would be £25 (1st prize), £15 (2nd prize) and £10 (3rd prize). Numbers can be purchased by anyone over the age of 18 with connections to the society.
