There's no business like show business

60 years, 107 productions, with well over 600 performances - seems a fitting reason to celebrate Banbury Operatic Society's Diamond Anniversary!

In October 2022, we staged a lavish production featuring some of the most well known and well loved musical gems from the many wonderful show the Society has stage over the last 60 years.

Fully staged, costumed and choreographed, with a live theatre orchestra, the show featured a wide variety of musical numbers, including from the rollicking Pirates of Penzance to South Pacific, Merrie England to Mack and Mable, My Fair Lady to Calamity Jane, Guys and Dolls to Anything Goes and lots more in between. By the end of the evening we are confident that our audiences agreed that 'There's No Business Like Show Business!
